Yes, you heard from me, the stone age man, Blazers are NOT going to win a championship. Some of you hate Blazers just because of Pippen. I don't, I only look at them and see all these talents go wasted. I have not checked stats, correct me if I am wrong, I think Blazers are one of the lowest scoring teams in the league. Although scoring is not the most important indicator of a team, but it does show that those highly promoted "fire power" has vanished.

At the end, Lakers and Spurs will be contending for the West, and Heat and Pacers will fight for the East.

    Careful caveman,

There are trolls everywhere! Blazer fans have a very psychotic fascination with what goes on over here at CC.

    But!!!

Great line last night from quitten...

    9 points

    0 assists

    5 rebounds

    31 minutes

I could put up those kinds of numbers. Someone going to pay me $14 mill?

Don't call me a Quitten fan, I still think that he got his ugly head from Easter Island.

However, I think it's too early to count the blazers out. Their need is to find a go-to guy, at least two. And Pippin won't help them in that category. However, I think that Steve Smith and Rasheed Wallace, if they develop and gain confidence in their system, could step into those roles.

Just like the Rox, they have new players and roles to learn. But I hate 'em, and only because of Pippin, but for me that's good enough reason.

Quitten also went 2 for 5 i believe against Kobe and the lakers. Kobe scored in the 20's and had a crucial monster block on snottie. Same snottie, different uniform. He still can't stop Kobe.

If you take his salary in consideration, im glad we traded him.

never was in AWE of portland.
The have a bunch of HIGH end Role players
[i.e. Spottie sCippen] Let's look at these guys. They are some of the best SECOND options in the league.

    Take a look at the
Hidden [ oop Slippen er. .Wippen . . whateva]
he just not THE MAN material. . .no mental toughness and no killer instinct. never had the chance to develop on in the NBA. [MJ's last second plays came to his shot or a pass to someone other than Kikken]

Stodimiere\Wallace\Sabonis\Schremf\o'neal\jim johnson - I would not like any of them as my 1st and a person to build a team around.

Smith WAS THE MAN in Atlanta. . .er what happened to them in the playoffs last year?
[ok .. he didn't have much help] + he too mild mannered. . [HIM I LIKE]

brian Grant - Probably their Greatest Player is Great because he is their best ROLE PLAYER

Kind of my Theory with the Jazz. . . The Jazz play at 100% everynight of every game. when playoff time comes. .. they do not have anything else left to give. They were never able to STEP UP to that next level.

I see Portland as a team that is Less than the sum of it's parts.

End question will be. . WHO WILL BE THE MAN!

BTW - I wonder what they will do trade wise next year

    BRR,That's hillarious......Easter Island...........LOL bigtime
Caveman,I don't think the Blazers will win for one simple reason(well 2)Mike Dunleavy........horrible X's and O's and the athleticism they traded away away cannot be underestimated.Steve Smith is a helluva player, but he needs plays drawn for him running off picks and such.He doesn't create his own shot. One other thing, they are a better team with Anthony at the point.............So what's going to give?..HH and don't forget Sabonis cannot play more than 25 min./game forcing Rasheed to move over.It takes away from his game and the team.
