Around this time of year, my heart starts racing a bit more when I hear a rumor, my breath is taken away by another approaching season, full of hope and the promise of something bigger and better. It is a little more exciting for me this year because I work 4 blocks from where training camp is going to be held. To think that I might be able to catch a glimpse of one of the Rox (or at least their Hummers). I just wanted to start this thread as a little prayer (we aren't in school, so this shouldn't end up in D&D) for things to come. Dear God, Please give our boys the patience to listen to their coach and the vision to see his plan. Please show them that sharing is a virtue and dribbling is for babies. Please help EG grow into the monster some of us believe he can be. Please give Yao 10 more pounds of lean muscle before the season starts. Please help Cat and Wink see the single universal truth...defense wins championships.

Dear Chakakahn, everybody wants to rock with you chakakahn. I can feel the vibe of the Rocket season coming on. I may be down in Galveston as well. I hope the big dude makes it to training camp down in Galv-e for a few days. you know what, I bet Yao has never been to Galveston before. That just can't happen. We need to get him down there even if its just for a few days. The only thing is he may have to watch out for seagulls landing on his head, thinking his head was the top of a light pole.
The team is going to need more than some prayer.. All I hope is that when JVG tries to whip them into shape he wants them, they don't kick up a stink
Dear Yao, Stay away from the Tiger lounge down in Galveston. Also, the Dragon "modeling studio" is not all about figure drawing.
FYI - I did not mean to imply with that post that Cuttino doesn't know about defense, I just want him to KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that defense wins championships.
