    Why do you watch NBA games? Because they are fun. The basketball court and everything is made to highlight the players' athletic ability as well as skills. How many times do you higher the commentators say. "Boy that was a great pass." vs. "Now, that was a dunk/shot". The fact is that almost no one in the NBA is a pure point guard, pure shooter etc. Why? Because Americans like very fast paced action. If you want to watch a game with pure shooters, point guard etc. watch a European game. Because the court and the rules (no zone defense) are made for the players the coach only plays a minimal role in the NBA. Coaches play a major role in college basketball. So if you want to see nice plays watch college basketball.

    This is my opinion. I hope I haven't offended anyone.
