Ok, for the past year they have Bern building a home right next door to mine and damaging my property in the process. The right side of my house has cement spots all over the walls and on my A/C condensor. The grass on that side has been destroyed as well due to the cement. They tore my fence down (without permission) and put a new fence up, and a portion of that fence actually crosses over my property line. I have discussed these issues with the builder and they are supposed to fix them. However, a new issue just occurred. I have very old trees, and some of the branches were hanging over their driveway. The contractor told me he wanted to cut them and I said I would call him to discuss it. I called but he didn't answer and his mailbox was full. I never got to discuss this with him and they went ahead and cut my trees anyway. I don't mind the branches being cut, but on one section he cut two entire limbs off!! Again, these are old trees (home is from the 50's). What the hell can I do about that, and this in general?

    TIA

    Thanks for the link.

I don't mind them trimming the tree, but isn't there a difference between trimming it to a point....as to where it is no longer over your line....and cutting the entire limb off to the base of the tree (well within in my yard, since the tree is in the middle of my yard)?

    Edit: The article mentioned this:
