Both sides suck and I don't care any more. Let them blow each other into oblivion with chants of revenge and retaliation. Only when they get tired of it....will it ever stop. If they never get tired, then it will never stop. So, what is America supposed to do about that? Absolutely zippo. Do you know how long we've been posting these types of threads and we are not an inch closer to peace or reaching a deal. For myself, it's way past the "whose to blame for what" portion. Both sides need to make concessions. But, neither side is willing to do so and always are calling for stepping up the violence. They can't even have a conversation without yelling at each other. Their only conversations are threats through the media. Ever hear the saying "Live by the sword...die by the sword". It applies here...no doubt. Israel says the ambulances are used to shuttle terrorists and funnel weapons. Whatever Israel says, Palestine says the opposite. Satan and God could have better relations.
Brigadier-General Ron Kitrey, the army's chief spokesman, said soldiers fired because the ambulance sped towards them. "It later became clear the passengers were likely non-combatants, although it is still not clear why the vehicle exploded," he said. But a medic wounded in the incident vehemently denied the army's account. "We were driving at a snail's pace," he said. Kitrey called the incident a "tragic aberration" and extended the army's apologies for the loss of innocent lives.
Yeah....I was speaking from another article I read where the Israelis said the ambulances had been used to funnel weapons and terrorists. Sorry if I sound a bit harsh...but I'm tired of it all. I value all human life and when I see two peoples where all they can do is try to make statements by the numbers of people they kill....all my sympathy and tolerance goes out the window. Sharon is a loser who is trying to create peace through more violence. We all know that will never work. Arafat is a flat out liar who hasn't done jack squat and isn't in control. Palestinian people would rather be martyrs than live. Israelis would rather create more martyrs and suppress than give up any land. Israelis want negotiations only after violence stops. Okay, let's check back on the situation in a decade and see where were at. My guess is absolutely nowhere with no progress and a higher death toll. The Saudi peace plan proposal is going to come and go. Already, other Arab states don't agree with it. Israel won't even consider it until violence ceases and absolutely will not pull out of West Bank and Gaza strip. Regardless of world opinion, the only people who can make peace are the two peoples at conflict. Or else it's war.
