for Nachbar to start playing some serious minutes. I'm not talking the whole game, but more than the futile 10 minutes in the 4th. Hopefully they will play him with Steve in Portland. Hell, maybe he might touch the ball every now and then, instead of making him run up and down the court for nothing.
I agree, but Rudy usually gives PT to people who earn it and it seems that his minutes have not been as productive as some others. I think he is just a little nervous out there right now. He seemed to relax and shoot better the longer that he was ou there though. I think he'll do a great job with more PT!
THere is no injustice going on and Rudy T is probably the fairest coach of all time. So when you see him play Boki 10 minutes it is reflection of many factors some of which you are not aware of or are classically overlooking.
It was reported not too long ago that he was still hurting. I'm sure the coaching staff is bringing him along slowly to not risk of him injuring it again. He played more tonight and looked more natural. As the year goes on he will get more playing time, if his play justifies it.
You could clearly tell that Boki was laboring out there. I noticed one transition down the court where he was struggling with the pain.
In the transcript from RT's interview the other day, he talked about how Boki is still not 100% and the injury has slowed down his transition. Considering the play of Morris and Rice and his nagging hernia sorenes...I would fully expect to see Boki on the IR for the first few games at least. Nothing to be gained by tryin to play him too much before he' s ready.
