Yeah, as I mentioned in the power loss thread, I was having TV and Internet problems. Pretty much down for a while, then on and off.

Now my TV seems a lot better, and the net is staying on, but my speeds are much slower.

I'm hoping they are still 'working' on the problems and things get back to normal. I'll give it another day or two before maybe calling.

I'm on a neighbors internet as well.
My cable t.v works fine. My internet is on for a few hours, then goes out.
It's basically been like this for a week.

I only lost power 3 1/2 days and got my cable & internet back a day later. No problem at all with connection speeds and downloads.

It's strange that you started this thread because I was doing an internet search on this exact same thing last night. My speeds were dial-up slow at one point last night (was clocked at 176 kb/s at one point...yes, kb)...but it's back to normal tonight. Might have been some seriously heavy congestion or something going on...not sure. Cable can be a lot more prone to that type of thing. Comcast will also momentarily delay your packets if you are using up a lot of bandwidth during a period of high congestion.
