Everytime Yao comes back to play for the NBA, will he be too tired because of having to play in China? Will he have to readjust to the NBA style of play every year? Yao is a star, but it seems like we will never get him at full strength.

Anyways, I hope Yao brings a more aggressive style to China and not forget what he learned here.

A lot of NBA players play for their national teams and dont seem to be worse for the wear. While most dont play for communist countries where they may be dictated to..as to when they join the team and how much time will be allotted...most dont show any ill effects.
Dirk Nowitzki is still playing in the post season, after playing for his national team and averaging an incredibile 47.3 minutes per game in the NBA playoffs and 39 minutes per game in the regular season.
Yao needs to seek advice from Dirk, find out how Dirk gets it done........ and tell his CBA minders to shove it.

probably not, I bet if you played basketball for a whole year, you'd be hurtin'.... it can't possibly be good. You have to rest sometime. This is the only part of our 'deal' with China that I detest. The fact that they 'must' have him to play for the national team. The NBA/Rockets should've never agreed to stretch this player so thin. Do you think he will have time to work out and bulk up? No, not if he's constantly playing. It seems as if Yao will need time away from basketball and not just a few weeks off. At this rate Yao will burn out in a few years. It's ridiculous to have him play so much... and do you think the Chinese coaches are going to take it easy on him? I doubt it.. .they will say something like 'The Americans have weakened you with lapsidaisical practices, you are back in the motherland, we will work you every day to be stronger' while in reality they will be running him down, trying to squeeze every ounce of play and skill out of him for the 'good of the country'...

    I've rambled....
