Is War becoming Obsolete? just wondering what you think based on the definition of war.......according to most political scientist’s war is an armed confrontation between two internationally acknowledged states having typically around a 1000 deaths on the battlefield in order to qualify. i agree that war's are becoming obsolete because of a few reasons... 1) Military Technology Gap between powerful and weak 2) Growing gap between poor and rich (powerful&weak) 3) End of civilizations 4) Alliances (treaties between nations) 5) U.S hegemonic power (no other super power to influence other nations) 6) Nuclear power reduces likelihood of war between two developed couintries 7) Spread of Democracy (two democracies have never gone to war) 8) Third world countries inability to afford to go to war (militaily and economically) what do you think are the main reason's? which of my reason are good or bad? and do you know of any political science theories that agree with my reasons for no more war?
