I pretty much agree with you about the praying mantus. If Dallas could find someone better he is gone.

And yes I loved it when Walt smaked that tall skinny ass whinny brat! [IMG]

How could we forget Greg Ostertag? Or what about Jim McIlvane? Travis Knight?

Walt is way too streaky, but he's not THAT bad.

Walt is just doing what he has done throughout his career, being inconsistent. When he's on, he's really on, but more often than not, he's off. He sounds like a light switch. Maybe, if we hard wired him to the own position, he'd be more consistent. [IMG] Fortunately, Rudy has finally started seeing it & relegated him to the bench. Go Shandon!

My vote as of now goes for Ostertag, because I can't think of anyone else.

Was waiting on that from LilFrancis- knew it had to be coming. Right now all 3 of those are contributing more than Walt, and Collier and Langhi I think have much brighter futures here. Much.

Hey "JC" Jason Collier actually produced once he got time. But the knee injury set him back. He'll be producing within a few weeks. Bullard isn't asked to play the role that Walt does, Walt is a starter and asked to be an offensive threat, Bull is just brought in for some sharp shooting and he does his job well. Dan Langhi is a freaking rookie, why are people on him, because he's white? When he does play he looks REAL good, I would play him more then Walt right now. Langhi will be a good player in a year or so, and once he bulks up more.

Now Cat be serious. How is Langhi doing better than Walt if he can't get in the game [IMG] And how is Jason Collier helping us out more than Walt? His 3 fouls in 6min were very impressive against VLADE DIVAC.

I'd rather have Langhi than Walt. Though Langhi aint gettin much minutes, Rudy has praised Langhi a whole lot. He doesn't wanna mess with the rotation too much right now.

Please post your opinions on this subject. If you can think of anyone who actually is worse than Walt (who gets significant playing time) please mention his name.

Going by stats Walt only has 8 people better than him at shooting the 3, but its obvious Wiz is one of the best long range shooters in the league.

    1 John Stockton .508
    2 Bryon Russell .481
    3 Shammond Williams .463
    4 Terry Porter .441
    5 Brent Barry .436
    6 Pat Garrity .435
    7 Fred Hoiberg .433
    8 Walt Williams .430

Look at Walt's contributions the last few weeks. You'd think he hadn't played either. [IMG]

As for Collier, go back and look what a consistently HEALTHY Collier can do. When he was healthy, he was consistently giving a solid 8-10 pts/4 reb in 15-20 minutes. Excellent production from a backup center. Collier's mobility is hampered now, and he's not in game condition yet. Let him get some reps before you get all over him, and let him get back in a groove.

    Big Country
    Scottie Pippen

that's about all I can think of right now.

    Lil Francis,
I have no idea why you are bashing Bullard and Langhi. Matt Bullard is a treasure here in Houston.........he is the best, I repeat the best, 3 point shooter to ever grace the Rocket team. Matt has contributed to many Rocket victories over the years as a clutch backup player. There is nothing more beautiful than a Bullard three and nothing more ugly than a Williams charge. Langhi on the other hand just needs a chance to play. Trust me he will do better than the "Wizard" though that does not mean that he will contribute much at all. Given the chance Langhi will show you why he was the SEC player of the year (I have seen him play in school and he can shoot the lights out). Unfortunately Lil Francis you won't get much of an argument out of me on Collier........but don't be to quick to say he is worse than Walt because he would have to be crappy for another year and a half to make that a fair comparison.

Pippen, Big Country, and Caffey shouldn't be in that list Lardboy!!! Big Country has actually been playing pretty well in the last few games. I'd rather have his output than Walt's on this team right now. [IMG]

Bullard cant hit 2s. NO defense, no rebounds, cant pass, cant put the ball on the floor, really slow player, weak, his dunks suck, I got alot more but these are reasons why Rudy doesnt let him play.

You seriously think that Miki Moore is a better player than Walt? He started for Detroit once. Give the Wizard a break. It is obvious that he is not being used properly in the offense. He is as pure as shooters can get. He just needs the right offensive sets. Oh, and he is a better defender than Mobley, although that isn't saying much.

I have to disagree with you on this point. There is something uglier than a Williams charge, and that's Bullard's defense!
