He's a sophmore, but I think he will stay another year. Maybe someone who follows Texas basketball more than me would know?

He has stated that he is 110% sure that he will be back for his junior season. I think I might have heard junior and senior season.

TJ Ford is awesome, and I love his passion and game...

He won't come out this year, although me thinks he would be a top 10 pick...

Another year will let him refine his already polished game...

I wish he would add some weight and bulk up more as he will need it with the big boys...

Tj ford promised his family he would finish atleast his junior season before entering the draft.

Projected draft status if he stays till his junior season,
    Top 5

If he is smart he will stay till his senior year depending on how well they do in the Ncaa tourney next year.

ford is a great college player right now, but he needs to develop his shot before he goes to the nba. i think i remember some quote from tj awhile back saying that his favorite nba player was hubert davis or someone like that because he is so fundamentally sound. so i take that to mean tj is more willing to stay in college to develop his fundamentals rather than jump to the nba asap.

How does TJ compare to Jat Williams as far as talent goes. Of course, Williams has the upper hand on NBA size, but what are their other similarities and main differences?

I've watched most of the Texas games this year. TJ's outside shot is still too inconsistent. The PG for UConn, Brown, was just giving TJ so much room around the college 3-point line and TJ could not hit that shot all night long. In the NBA, TJ would need to hit that shot on a more consistent basis to make better use of his penetration skills. I hope he stays at least one more season.
