http://www.ev1.net/english/news/newsarticle.asp?articleID=27092502&type=headline&subject=headlines President Bush said Tuesday the United States will turn over former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to the new Iraqi interim government but declined to set a timetable. "I want to make sure that when sovereignty is transferred, Saddam Hussein stays in jail," Bush told reporters.Bush Won't Set Timeline on Saddam Handover I just feel like once he back over there. . some of his 'boys' we don't know about . . will bust him out Rocket River
He committed crimes against Iraqis for decades. They should be allowed to see justice carried through on this one.
It seems only fair they be the ones to prosecute him and sentence him. 1. it gives more legitimacy to the new govt 2. They are the ones he commited the abuses on 3. It shows that the invasion of Iraq was more about regional stability and safety then some vendetta for 41 by 42
have there been any surveys that show how iraqis would react if saddam were back in iraq? i mean would they be afraid that he was ready to take the country back...would it increase insurgency...would it increase iraqi support for the US....i dunno lots of things.
I understand . . but i hope we help with the security I DO NOT want him running around free AGAIN Rocket RIver
