Is this why we didn't get Amare?

    As discussed by a lot of people here, I personally felt that Amare deal was going down for sure considering Clutch's post and then the announcement by Morey yesterday. Anyway check out the link

    In essence if the Suns are in a rebuild mode, they will trade the core team. The current Roster minus Shaq, was built for the SOL offense. If the coach doesn't fit that scheme, it only makes sense to replace the coach or rebuild the team based on its new direction + economics.

    The old strategy got them deep in the playoffs but never to the big one despite having one of the best offensive teams in the league.

    I expect Amare to be traded, the Suns don't want to let Amare walk for free. Suns been tangling him since last season and most Sun fans are tired of Amare antics to be #1 option on the team.

    I hope they are rebuilding but obviously firing Porter and trading Shaq means that move to halfcourt offense failed and they are going back to Amare - Nash core. Lets hope I am wrong and they give us Amare!
