Is this the worst overall officiating you've ever seen?

We need some retired refs back.

 

I've seen worse, everytime the Rox play the Jazz in the finals.
GP and JF still yelling "start the clock!"

It has gotten worse this year compared to last.

It really is unbelievable considering Stern "warns" referees of bad officiating.

I have no idea what the hell is going on with the referees these days, all hyped superstars ie. Lebron, Wade are given phantom fouls to operate with.

Another problem with this issue is, very little bad calls are required to change the game. I've been saying, that all it takes is THREE bad calls to take a good player out of the game for Three cursed quarters.

The Rockets were completely unprepared to have Yao out for 75% of the game today, they were completely unprepared. The Rockets held on nicely for the first two quarters, but the Rockets couldn't change their gameplan in time to score without Yao.

I don't think it's just the referee, floppers have their part as well. The real problem is, Refs don't need to call phantom fouls on floppers, they just call it. This is a big problem in the game, and this is what I'm afraid of most after seeing today's game. Refs are able to justify their calls when players flop.

 

i started about the same time. every time i thought "this is the worst officiated game i've ever seen", a couple of weeks later, boom, here comes another one even worse. lol.

and isn't the league supposed to go after the floppers really hard this season? when is it gonna happen?

 

I believe Rick Ad. really needs to start getting some techs like JVG. Get yourself thrown out of a game if you need to , just start some bull**** on the court .

but yes i can't stand flopping, and how tmac never gets any calls, even though he drives.

 

The league will never do anything about it, they just keep saying they will to get us off their backs.

 

Yao needs to come out publicly and talk about how horribly he is officiated, maybe insinuate racism, Stern won't want China and their buying power pissed off.....Yao...USE your influence big fella.

And yes, this was the worst officiated game from beginning to end I have ever seen.

Was there a quarter where no foul calls were made at all?

I watched the game, and all I remember now is Yao getting robbed. I do remember a quarter where we didn't go to the line once I think.

Was there a quarter where we had absolutely no foul calls?

 

The Cavs got some serious home cooking tonight. The calls on Yao are bogus most of the time anyway. He gets absolutely mugged on a regular basis, but if he breathes on another player the refs go crazy. Yao is clearly the most poorly officiated player in the league, but tonight was especially pitiful.

Yao should just dare the refs to foul him out every game. Adleman shouldn't sub him out even when he's in foul trouble. Most of the time the refs hesitate with the whistle when a star player is about to foul out. I've seen it so many times. If Yao does keep fouling out then I'm sure Stern would take a look into it.

 

David Stern tells the officials who are the players that he wants them to be the NBA superstars. The officials has to do the work or D.Stern won't be happy.
