If it is, there certainly isn't much to it. http://www.nba.com/news/allstar2006_041207.html Here are some others for comparison.
It has our colors. The words "All Star" are in our Rockets font. The only thing that is really missing is some "icon" to represent the city of Houston the way the Denver one has the "mountain peak". That probably is the logo. BTW, the LA one is TERRIBLE! talk about lame!
I think the icon is in the shape of the star. Lonestar. At least they didnt' put a cowboy hat or oil derrick in it I guess. I like LA's for some reason. It would make a cool framed poster.
You could make that argument. But I thought the "star" was to represent "All stars" much like the Star in the Denver background. I guess it could be both. Maybe they need some extra stars in there.
Exactly! Not bad IMO. Better than most of the others posted but it does look like it should have been the logo here last summer.
Yeah, it looks as though they didn't know what to put on the front. A star (i.e. lone-star, Astors) or a rocket (i.e. angry needle) or a space station....(ok, I'm reaching now).... Maybe they could have just put a skyline, and be done with it. But it does look kinda plain.
I like it, although wouldve been cool to have our skyline like Cleveland's. I liked the alternate/secondary logo from last year's super bowl with our skyline in display. LA's was lame from last year and Orlando's is pretty much their logo. San Antonio's is nice
I like it too, for the same reasons. Just thought it could use just skyline behind the top star point. No biggie.
i like LA's. it would make a pretty cool poster. but of course i wouldn't hang anything that has to do with LA or lakers or kobe
Looks like the star is like a space ship and is blasting off. Too bad they didn't puta skyline or something of HOuston in the back ground. (outline)
