Maybe, Maybe No ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
DC Rock, I am going to go out on a limb here, and say yes. Until the trade deadline has come and passed, I would bet the Rockets still have trade talks with other teams on a daily basis. I don't think you need Clutch or Doc Rocket for that one......
Yes, but we need them to give us hints about what is going on. ------------------ Kenny Thomas had a foul called on him in the Western Conference Finals.
Concerning trade talks, I don't know if last night's press conference in which the Grizzlies' owner said he's bleeding red and needs league help is good or bad for the Rockets. The article on nbatalk indicated some Taiwanese-American dot.com billionare is interested in buying the team and pull a Mark Cuban (spend $$$) while keeping the team in Vancouver. So the current owner will either sell or move (he acts like he'll sell). What will the buyer want? Will he say "keep Shareef"? Or move Shareef? Ying Mao's name was bandied about and I've always thought the franchise had its eye on him because Vancouver has a significant Chinese population (the official web site has a Chinese language version). But Chicago's #1 pick would help them out in that department because Mao would likely go first, and Vancouver, suck as the team does, might need that extra insurance of a high draft pick. Which would mean a 3-way trade with Houston. The nice thing is, either we have two and a half weeks of speculation (and disappointment) left, or we'll get rewarded for our patience sooner or later. ------------------
I don'tt know if any trade talks are going on,but Walt Williams should be traded to any team with a big frontline lacking in shooters. The chances of that happening however are very remote to none. ------------------
