I tried not to make a Seriously, what's wrong with Yao.....

Anyway, I think something is happening to Yao. It is really rare that he miss free-throws. When he does bad, he'll miss jump-shots, hooks, dunks, etc. But he never misses free-throws. But today, he was 0-4 from the line. What do yall think? Something wrong with his hands? legs? health? or his mind? Did he lose major confidence because of that miss dunk? What's happening to the Great Wall?!

I think he was tired. The Lakers were playing very physically against him, as most big teams will. It happens on occasion.

Nothing, the first two are rare misses. But the last two in the blowout showed that he wants to leave the court.

Problems at home. He had a love-child with a hoochie on the road, and now she's demanding she support the baby.

No, but seriously, I think he's still injured, and he's lost alot of upper body strength. He hasn't gone AT ALL to one of his pet moves, which was the quick shot without dribbling from the left post.

Didn't watch the game, but that is quite possible since he is far from 100% to start the season in the 1st place. Next game is three days away, hopefully that will help.

If he is so easily worn out? Can could he be effective as one of our top scoring options?

If he plays like this whenever a team plays physical on him, then he's nothing like a star player. Stars should shine despite of what the others do. Stars should be unstoppable.

Cmon man, Yao maybe in a slump right now, but one thing for sure, he is not a quitter. If you see his facial expression, you will see he dont like to loss.

He is not being properly utilized. He has to stay in the high post all the time, and he doesn't have enough time to set himself up in the low block where he should always be.

Yao is putting too much pressure on himself right now. He knows that this is the season that he has to take over the leadership role on the team so that he overthinks and loses his usual cool. He is frustrated and his current body doesn't allow him to empower his will.

obviously, rick doesn't have idea how to use yao.

timing of when to use yao and when to rest, i think yao is tired and short summer rest has begun to show on his body.

but yao is not the major problems of this team, tamc is way out of shape and where is offense of rick adlment brings in? game is uglier than jvg's.

Yes, he's been exposed as a tall stiff. That's what's wrong.

but he's been a 20/10 tall stiff. right now he's far from that. something's gotta be wrong. i'm puzzled and concerned. (i know you're not, as you just wanted to spew out the stiff word to feel good.)
