is there anyways to get tickets to the cookoff?

    i've been wondering that all my life, its been my life long dream to go to the cookoff at the rodeo....

    anybody have any idea how to acquire tickets. hell, just 1 ticket.

    and is the bbq good?
    has anyone ever gone?

    Yeah, but I think he wants to party...that is where the better bbq and fun is...you have to know someone or be invited to a team's cookoff tent..Haven't been in years...

    The bbq itself is usually pretty average, but the beer is always cold - and free.

    I have a few friends that invite me to their tents every year.

    It used to be fun because it was just a bunch of people we knew but now people invite people who invite people and before you know you have a couple of drunk guys you don't know talking ****.

    Yeah it's really not worth it to go unless you have friends that can get you into private tents. It's a ton of fun though if you're able to swing it.
