    ...... than the Atlanta Braves' tomahawk chop chant?

    Am I the only one who thinks this offends native americans with the oh-oh-oh oh oh- oh- oh -oh oh oh???

    And the "chop" itself just doesnt sit well with me. I mean they are immitating a chopping axe - much like Indians used to decapitate heads.

    Just a thought...... Im bored.

    I'm fine with it. I'm sick of the PC world I'm stuck in. Thankfully, within my bubble of friends and coworkers, I can be as much of an ass as I want to be, without suffering repercussions.

    And I take FULL advantage of that.

    Here's a thought...the part where you say 'I mean they are immitating a chopping axe - much like Indians used to decapitate heads' is one of the most ignorant things I've ever seen a person write on here. I'm not trying to be anal here, because I do find the tomahawk chop annoying, but to use that as one of your reasons? Give me a break.

    I cannot stand that friggin "Shake ya tailfeather" song for this exact same reason...well, that and the infinite elements of faggotry that the two of them posess.

    Who the hell uses interpolations of the damn Braves theme in a pop ("rap") song?

    I hate the fact that they co-opted "Shake Your Tailfeather", a great old R&B song from the 1950s. Modern rappers will steal anything, because they are too damn talentless to write something good that is original.

    Racism -- whether a snide comment at dinner or institutionalized insensitivity like the "Tomahawk Chop" -- is still racism.

    That said, politics, culture and sensitivity aside, I bet it's a blast to do the 'Chop at a Braves game. They were going nuts in the 8th inning last night...until the Cubs slammed the door in their face.
