    I have really enjoyed the Clutch & Bima Thug podcasts and I really enjoyed the Rockets.com podcast a few days ago with Jason Friedman & Craig Ackerman as well.

    Personally I would love to see a Rockets Round Table with Jason Friedman, Craig Ackerman, Clutch and Bima. I tweeted this to Jason Friedman today and this was the response I got.

    I have no clue as to Clutch or Bima's interrest in doing this but as much as I loved their podcasts I hope they will consider it.

    It's great to be a member of the best fan based website on the internet! Thanks Clutch, for giving an out of town fan away to be apart of the Rockets and such a great fan base for over a decade!

    For now, it looks like we'll just have to endure the NBA dead zone. Absolutely no news at the moment. A couple of weeks from now might tell a different story.
    Maybe a training camp edition?

    2 separate entities...do not like mix. Clutch and BimaThug are much more informative and unbiased.

    Shocked that anyone would not see this as great sports talk. I clearly have a hard time imagine anyone selecting no and being serious unless you just don't like Rockets or basketball.

    They do a lot of round tables on the different sports radio stations I listen to and they are always good. They generally have multiple sports writers and radio hosts, some homers some not but it is usually entertainning and informative.

    I would not expect clutch or Bima to suddenly toe the company line if they did a roundtable discussion with Jason Friedman and Craig Ackerman. I would expect some debate and a lot of great discussion about the Rockets.

    Thanks for the kind words about the podcasts. Glad you like the idea of a round table with Jason and Craig, and I definitely appreciate that Jason is interested in that. I think he does great work and is a very well-informed journalist who can only reasonably be accused of being "diplomatic" as opposed to being any sort of shill for his employer.

    I would not oppose the idea myself if Clutch were interested. My only qualm would be that most listeners of a RocketsCast on rockets.com will probably have no idea who the hell I am. It'll be the play-by-play voice of the Rockets (Ackerman), the head writer for Rockets.com (Friedman), a frequent radio guest and founder of ClutchFans.net (Hardisty) and ... some other guy.

    Still, the thought of being part of such a round table is enticing.

    You guys do a great job. I'm just excited that you like the idea and hope it can work out. I'm not sure you guys realize how much most of us really appreciate what you guys bring to the table.

    And don't worry.... people know who Bima Thug is. ;)
