Ming's agent Eric Zhang said yesterday that he hoped ming can sign his contract right after the Asian Games so that Ming can attend a part of training camp. But he said they still need the clearance of CBA. Anyway, Ming will not miss the season.

The talking between the agents of Ming and Rockets is still going on. The main consern is how Ming is paid if he is injured or has some accident.

Eric said the key point right now is that CBA letter.

About the Yanjing beer contract with Rockets, Eric said Harbrew Imports has the right to cancel this contract if Ming leaves Rockets four yeas later. He said Rockets will not let Ming go after his rookie contract.

Ming has two ads on hand now- Nike and NBA card.

Well, the Asian Games end next Mon., so I would think that after a fewdays of rest\saying goodbyes\taking care of personal business, we'll probably see him in town by the following week at the earliest.

In other words, I'm betting on 2 weeks from now.

Sorry, no. That is the day of the Men's finals of the Asian Tournament.
Yao Ming is expected to finish that, return to China for a day or two to, and then fly to Houston. In other words, the earliest he'd show up here is the 18th or 19th.

Yeah. That shouldn't even be an issue.
