The NRA is about membership. They may focus their message on anti gun people in a campaign but the NRA is about values. Its about 2nd amendment and defeating people in elections through raw numbers who are gun control advocates. People only started focusing on PAC money recently.

Obviously the gun manufacturers are in a sales slump since Trump got elected President. They need to back the Democratic candidate in 2020 to get their sales back on track.
