SF played so well in the playoff games against Lakers, I am almost convinced that he is the answer. Then comes these Spurs game. Looking at Parker, and thinking about how the Lakers made Bibby like a max player a couple years ago, I start to wonder if this Lakers team a star PG maker--making the opposite point guard look like star.

While it was encouraging to see Francis play well in the playoffs, I sure hope people are not deciding they want to keep Francis based solely on his performance against the Lakers.

And Troy Hudson, another all-star against the Lakers.

This isn't news; the Lakers greatest haflcourt weakness all year has been their inability to stop quick point guards. So, yes, in that respect, Francis, Parker, Bibby et al are going to look really good against them.

Yup, this is very old news. Lakers have been killed in recent history by good PF's and PG's. They don't have that problem PF's anymore because they have Karla now but they still have major troubles keeping up with small quick point guards.
