Always thought there was something suspicious about Daft Punk, but I could never put my finger on it, so this explains a lot.
It's really weird to me that you guys think this is a real possibility. Imagine telling the 29 other immensely powerful and entitled billionaire team owners, "Hey, we know you wanted a shot at one of the 5 best prospects to ever enter the NBA too, but we like the storyline of him going to X. Eat ****." So aside from the fact they would be putting the integrity of a multi-billion-dollar industry on the line and risking permanently ruining their brand, they would also have to tell a bunch of billionaires, "S U C K IT! Wemby goes wherever the hell we want him to go! I don't care how much you paid for your franchise!" Yeah. I don't see that going over.
Exaaaactly. In a board of directors meeting, Silver's the poorest guy in the room. You think you can get 30 of the biggest egos in the world to just agree on one story that benefits just one of them?? Especially if one of those guys is Michael Freaking Jordan? He'd kick your ass if you even pitched something like this to him. Story sounds good on paper but it's impossible to keep that many people quiet about it.
Well of course Parker called Pop and said this is the year to try after what Parker has seen of the kids. Doesn't mean it will happen with the new lottery rules. Hit it, and you start your rebuild with a generational talent. Miss it and you've delayed your rebuild by at least a year or two.
It’s between the SA sperms and Utah j*zz…. Two franchises that should fold and disappear….. but we can throw a wrench in the mix with Coach Sil@ss tanking efforts ….
Hornets won't be bad as they have gone from 23 wins to 33 wins to 43 wins the last 3 seasons. LaMelo Ball continues to improve along side of Rozier, PJ Washington, and Miles Bridges will be back. Mark Williams will get better as the season goes along. Blazers will be terrible. You will understand as the season chugs along. The addition of Gary Payton, Jeremy Grant and S Sharpe won't win them much to that tanking team of last season. They will be going for Wembanyama -Dame future.
Spurs embraced the tank after years of pop talking **** about tanking. More teams will follow when they see houstan
i have a feeling hes going to have the same career, to bad about the injuries for victor and chet though, i think our tank is done
I frankly don't see why the league would not want to recreate its post Jordan nadir by putting its best team and an epochal talent in one of its crappiest markets
Please look up recent news on: Montrez Harrell (accused of felony drug trafficking and then signed with 76ers) and Anthony Lamb (accused of rape and then signed with Golden State)
I'm just saying everytime a generational player becomes available in a market where a player has ties they seen to find themselves going there; Akeem - Houston Ewing - NY LeBron - Cleveland Shaq - was from SA but they already had Robinson and I really don't think he has true ties there. I'm just saying it's SOMETHING but we need to pay attention to it.
So let me get this straight. You would be unhappy if win the lottery and they drafted him? Say they have a better year, show improvement along the way and finish 4th worst. Then get lucky with an 11% chance they win the pick and take Wemby. That would be a bad thing?
The 5th and 6th worst records (where Rockets could be) have a 10.5 and 9 percent chance respectively of landing Wemby.
