    Karl also underwent chemotherapy treatment for papillary carcinoma (a thyroid cancer)

    After his senior year, Karl again had another surgery to remove cancerous cells. His father left the Nuggets to be with his son during the seven-hour surgery and returned to the team after the completion of the surgery.

    Coby Karl is not Wally Szczerbiak, but he ain't no Sam Cassell, either.

    That was one bad picture for Coby, Sam has never taken a good picture in his life. Big difference. It's like one 3 for 16 shooting game vs. a career 25% shooter.

    Call me crazy but i see Karl's chances much better than Greg Oden's for making People Magazine's yearly most beautiful people list. I'd like to see one of those computerized aging software programs show us what Oden will look like in 5-10 years. To think people used to say Lebron looked old. :confused:

    On a side note, I'm just happy to contribute and keep going to one of the most intellectual threads in the entire forum or internet for that matter. It gives me a good feeling at the end of the day to know i donated money to this community so we could talk about such things. I think we can do alot of good here if we continue to put our mind's together. :D
