I honestly think he will call off surgery and rehab instead. He knows his career is over if he gets microfracture surgery.

His appointment with the doctor in Chicago was pushed back to Monday according to the chronicle.

If he does that and tries to come back before the playoffs, Katy bar the door. He could triple sabotage the Rocket's season. This team needs to move on.

seriously if Tmac was ever planning on getting another contract of any substance... after his current one expires... he should have never mentioned microfracture surgery

really if they needed a advance MRI to catch it... then the other teams would not have caught it either...

and from what Morey said... it wasnt in a area that affects the knee, just causes pain...

Tmac should have just sat out... for the season get healthy(as much as he could get) and then tried to come back in the playoffs... like RA was asking him to do...

but I guess he was getting so much flack... he needed to find someone... who would give him a legit option...

the doctor he will see will most likely perform any procedure that tracy will eventually get, microfracture or alternatives.

regardless, whatever method he chooses, it will require a lot of time off. so he will NOT come back this season regardless.

hopefully tracy will be back and be healthy next year. this was just a disastrous year for him. gl to him and the team is finally moving on.

hopefully he never plays for us again

he only announced that procedure to kill any trade value b/c he only cares about himself

I don't care what he does...as long as he isn't in a Rockets uniform

TMac will play next season but not in H-Town. This guy had a lot respect from the fans but lost it all with his weird attitude this year. He brought all the negative talk about him on himself. Good luck to TMac with his new team and I hope MJ takes him off the Rockets for Wallace and some fillers

I still wouldn't mind McGrady as a bench option come playoff time.

I thought McGrady's problems have to do with a lack of cartilege between the joints in the knee. If so, no amount of sitting out is going to fix that, no?

I agree with you , the part I don't understand is why they just don't give him pain killers and a cotizone shot and call it a day. It sounds that the pain could be associated with a nerve because if it was anything else he would have major swelling.
