Nah... Rockets need white out Jalen's name on his contract extension and write in Adam's name

2 years 18 mill coming up.

Edit: I seriously thought Adams was 38-39. He’s only 31

Yea .. I am afraid someone like the Lakers may throw him the bag this off-season that will make retaining him almost impossible

the thing that makes Adams so good are the people around him. Adams may go somewhere else, but he might not be as good. I think Adams likes it in Houston.

I think he likes playing for this team, so I hope he comes back.

One thing we have learned is that Sengun plays well with another big on the floor. Especially a rim protector like Adams. I’m now wondering if this makes it more likely the Rockets go with a big in the draft.

Adams will be back on a reasonable contract. Most competing teams only have 10-14m available. Adams is only suited as a backup center. I don’t know the guy, but I think he loves playing here. I do think we need to draft a big if we keep the pick and it’s in the 9-12 range. Adams is not a 70 game a year guy. He will miss some time more than likely and we could use somebody developing behind him.

HELL NO!!! this is disrespect to Steve. Boban was a glorified celebration cigar. dude would play and people cheered like he was a sideshow act at the circus. it was embarrassing.

Adams need a lot of load management in the regular season and few teams can afford this but this is not problem for us

So I think we will bring him back next season

Is Naz Reid playing himself off the Wolves....nope.

He is extending his NBA career, virtuous.

Ime Udoka gets a lot **** on this board from some despite winning games with strategies that are just different than other teams customized to his team. Double big lineup. Just is a weird zone. They can fall back, but still pressure the ball. 8th best offense in playoffs despite a lack of shooters.

Ime is getting production out of Adams in ways most teams just don't even try.
