Please explain why Ming had off night before 4th? His rebouding was there, shooting wasnt good but that has been the case for last seveal games. His presense inside again altered many spurs shots tonight, including one T.D's turn over. Defensively he would have definitely helped Rox in the last 3 min, and I dont think fatique was the reason for Rudy to keep him out. Was Rudy mad at Ming???? I knew Ming went out shoot a commercial on Saturday for a Chinese telecom company, while he should've been lying his @$$ down resting to recover and get ready for the Spurs game. Could this be the reason???

Yeah like when Rudy said he liked Stoudemire, people speculated that he wanted to draft him instead of Yao right?

    Don't be so sensitive!

With all of these singsong thread titles, you would think that Rudy is pissing in Ming's cereal every morning.

Cat played great, he was one of the reasons we got back in the game. i think rudie didn't want to bench him.

It was for the same reason Rudy didn't play Francis. The Spurs were on their way to a blowout when Steve and Yao were in the game. Moochie, Taylor, and Cato were more effective, and prevented the blowout when they were in the game. There's your answer. I don't know if it was the right decision by Rudy, but that's what it was. He just decided to go with the "five" that had produced the best results.
