Hard to explain. May possibly due to our players themselves. I dont think the doctor is a dad one.

Certainly not as good as the Phoenix Suns' doctors. They healed Grant Hill and Shaq when others couldn't.

I even remember seeing a video of how good the Sun's Docs are.
I understand not wanting to get under the Lux. Tax...but hiring these so call "experts" who's only word of advice is "play if you feel good"? come on.

Actually the doctor I believe in the most is the one Detroit has. A lot of people here say that the Suns doctors are pretty good, but the Detroit ones are the best I've ever seen. I don't think their starting 5 ever had an injury and had to miss a game, except with Richard Hamilton having to wear a mask. Plus, they nursed Mcdyes back to health as well.

Definitely in stark contrast to our team, where you'd always read the phrases "misdiagnosed condition" or "worse than initially thought" or "pre-existing injury" Those statements have nothing to do with the fragility of our players.

By definition there's plenty of below average doctors, and even if they follow recommendations and guidelines and behave conscientiously that is still only average. It takes a special doctor to be groundbreaking and do pioneering work.

I heard the "team doctor" is just Clyde Drexler in a white lab coat and glasses...

I think Stern has something to do with our injuries. Probably paying our docs to inject a plague. Or maybe its the jerseys, red is bad luck?

this is a good thread. i wonder if morey would actually look into this. i mean, we get injuries all the time.

phoenix is a really good example. grant was injured all the time with orlando, but now that he's with phoenix, we havent heard peep about any injury. same with shaq. everybody says he's washed up and was just second fiddle to wade when he was with miami, but now he's looking like a monster again with phx. not to mention amare who had microfracture done on his knee, and he looks like he never had the injury.

Arnie Kander, the best in the biz.

He is a health extremist. He will do anything and everything to keep them healthy. It works though. Grant Hill credits Arnie with keeping him healthy, before the Orlando disaster. McDyess credits Phoenix with stopping the knee pain, but Arnie with healing the knee.

Here's a link to a Detroit Press story on Arnie.

    ...Bonzi Wells and Bob Sura.

McDyess and Shaq are fragile players too, but they got better with good medical staff.

    Injury Report

    Player,Date,Type,Note
Ron Artest,2008-12-11,sprained right ankle, will miss Friday's game against Golden State
Brent Barry,2008-11-29,torn right calf,is out indefinitely
Shane Battier,2008-12-11,sore foot,is probable for Friday's game against Golden State
Joey Dorsey,2008-11-30,plantar fasciitis in left foot,is out indefinitely
    Steve Francis,2008-10-29,knee surgery/conditioning,is out indefinitely
Tracy McGrady,2008-12-11,sore left knee,is questionable for Friday's game against Golden State
Yao Ming,2008-12-11,illness,is probable for Friday's game against Golden State

This is our injury report right now, you can not find any other team in the league has longer injury list than us.

And the problem is, we changed the GM, we changed the coach, we get different players, but our injury list never get shorter. Why?
