I was just wondering if the Portland Trailblazers are ever going to trade Rasheed Wallace. Are the Rockets ever going to acquire him or are the Rockets eyeing some other player thats out there like Shareef from Atlanta. Any info is appreciated.

If Portand is trying to kill contracts, they are better off letting his expire than taking on any new ones. I'd guess you have to help them get rid of Patterson or Stodemire if you're going to get Sheed. Current plan there is to run him at 3 with Q. Woods as backup.

On the other hand, if you could give back Rice's expiring contract and cheap talent - they might bite, and make other moves later.
Of course, you have to believe that Sheed is worth more than the cheap talent you give up, and that you can afford to re-sign him.

Given the above limitations, I'd say it's pretty unlikely.

Yes, in the year 2012 Rasheed Wallace will be waived by the BobCats and then sign a 10-day contract with the Rockets, who will bear the slogan "Could Be Big Any Day Now!". We have foreseen it.

Now - I realize you're fairly new here, and part of this is understandable, but be a little respectful please. People post info and will be glad to help out and get you up to speed, but not if you post a <a href="http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64359">"are there any rumors out there" thread</a> and follow it up by creating a thread for every "are there any [insert well-known player name here] rumors out there".
