    Is racism still alive today? How will people in the South, in particular, react to a picture of Obama's inter-racial parents? Will Hillary and team use this against him through backchannel sources pushing this into the limelight? Would Rove use it? Will this even be an issue? Obviously it should not be, but my question is will it?

    Ditch the personal insults, Batman. This is a legitimate issue. The Democrats often talk about what Rove allegedly did to McCain along these same racial lines back in 2000. Seems to me like this would be a situation that could give rise to a similarly disgusting tactic.

    But instead of engaging in a discussion on the issue, you just sling personal insults. Your rage and hatred is out of control, by the way. I really mean that.

    So you are telling me if Hillary, who has methodically built her entire life around running for President, is behind in the polls in key Southern states late in the primary race, that she wouldn't be tempted to test the waters with something like this? I find that hard to believe, given her obsession with power and the fact that she knows if she doesn't win this race then her political hopes and dreams are dashed -- forever.

    There are a lot of things I don't like about Hillary, but she's not a racist and she's not going to employ racist tactics. I have complete faith we can trust you to continue to do so though.

    Jorge feels that Obama is unqualified to be president because:

    1. He's black
    2. He's not black enough
    3. His dead black father was Muslim
    4. His dead black father had sex with his dead white mother

    There are others that feel the same way. I'm sure Jorge counts many of them as friends. But I am confident there are too few people like him, particularly in the Democratic Party, for his race to be a deciding factor in the campaign.

    Hillary has a deep history of unscrupulous behavior. She is incredibly power hungry. Her Machiavellian ambition knows no boundaries and will stop at nothing.

    I'm not someone who sees HRC as being supremely principled above other politicians. I like her, but she is certainly pragmatic and goal-driven.

    Here's the thing, T_J:
    1. Let's say HRC considers the strategery you suggest. Having multiple neurons, she quickly hits the fact that the possible costs (exposed using a vile strategery) far outweight the possible gains (of race-sensitive Americans, how many will react to an interacial couple more than they already react to an African-American candidate? Very few.) Being smart, she would abandon the proposed strategery.

    2. If HRC is having trouble in Southern states, I can think of a certain pal of hers that could quickly do a few stump appearances and help her greatly.

    So the question is not that relevant after a few moments of thought, IMO.

    If Obama wins the nomination, assuming Rove still enjoys his powerful position, the question may become relevant. People seem more immune to vile strategeries from the GOP now, in all honesty. "Outrage fatigue" or what-have-you.
