    We expected to be a top 2 team in the West and we are now the 2nd last :mad:

    I now read NBA.com Standings by Alphabetical order... at least we are #10 on the list!

    i don't thonk we were expected to be #2 in the West during the Francis era... and we were not 2nd last neither..... its the original high expectation this year.

    Sure, but we missed the playoffs for 4 straight years and had a 28 yard season, that was a rough time.

    yup i agree with the fellas that posted earlier. some guys over here just havent seen the REALLY BAD years. quitten, francis migraines, 4 years in a row being in the lottery.. man, some of us here has been through alot with this team.

    This is the BEST time to be a Rockets fan. :)

    See, when we win it all in the near future, you can say you were with this team through thick and thin!

    All the other bandwagon fans will hang their heads in shame and despair.

    The worst time to be a Rockets fan was the '82 season when we won 14 games. Of course we did draft Sampson and Olajuwon the next 2 yrs.

    I struggled through the 15 win season that got us Ralph Sampson, then his rookie year we won 29 games....

    That SUCKED !!

    No, but expected to be #2 beats the hell out of expected to suck it indefinetly. At least this season , unlike countless others, there is still hope.

    four consecutive years in the lottery has a strong case. in my time as a rocket fan (since 86), i dont think that has ever happened (i could be wrong)
