This would be a crazy idea. People are getting bored and coming up with all kinds of crazy trades. This is a young team and adding a young center with incredible potential is the way to go. Getting Vin Baker (old, fat, and expensive) is NOT the way to go. Don't you think that the #1 pick is work more than a Vin Baker???? And if Shad is Lewis, then why did we pick Nachbar? Besides, Lewis is not worth the MAX or anything near that. So why overpay??? Just relax and watch Ming play BEFORE you predict he's not good. Bradley got the pub because he was tall and sort of mobile. He had no basketball skills and he took 2 yrs off on a missionary trip before he played in the NBA. Even that stiff did decent in his rookie year. Ming on the other hand is a tall, mobile and skilled player who loves the game, has good B-ball IQ, knows the team concept, willing to play for NOTHING (all his pay is going back to China - In fact, he's in debt as of now with he IOUs to country and old team), wants to become the best, and oh yeah, did you notice that he can shoot, pass, rebound and block? Bad idea. Don't mess with the Rockets! with that trade offer. Baker is not even worth trading for fat Cato, much less Ming. Hopefully we can get Rashard for just the mid level exception.
