My First D&D thread...Just a poll (not asking much)... ;)

Is MicroSoft Office 2010 better than MicroSoft Office 2007?

I have a computer brought late last year and there is a 60-day trial for Office 2010 but I dont know if I should give it a try and see if there is any difference.

    Is there any (major) differences?

Which one do you recommand to use? And, do you use it at home, at work or at school/university?

I've heard that Microsoft Office 2010 might not have even been born in America. It claims that it has, but the Governor can't find its birth certificate. I don't know how it can be the country's office productivity suite if it's not even a real American.

I use PowerPoint a lot... And, for me, the features in 2010 blow 2007 out of the water.

If you have a license for 2007, you do not need to upgrade to 2010. Otherwise, go for it.

The Microsoftists are everywhere (even on this forum!). Because of a select few Microsoftists, ALL of Microsoft is to blame. I have a few Microsoft friends, mind you - but they are practically Appleites - with their trendy ways and hip attitudes... that's how Microsoft SHOULD be.

I use Ubuntu, a Linux distribution, so I don't use Microsoft Office. Most of the time, I use Google Docs, or Open Office (which was pre-installed on my OS). Frankly, I hardly notice a difference.

    Perspective, really.

The mere fact that I can work two presentations on separate monitors is HUGE.

Obamasoft 2010 is the crown jewel in Socialism! It is the government takeover of office document production and management!

2010 rocks my socks. I love the outline mode, and OneNote is pure gold if you have a tablet...

One Note is solid even without a tablet! The ability to "print" entire powerpoints into a book and to be able to flip in between them, quickly, is invaluable during study time. Beyond that, you can actually search for text WITHIN multiple powerpoints

    Really good stuff
