Watching Memphis makes you think about this. Marc is as skilled as Pau is but he is bigger. Gasol has been worse past few months while Marc has shown his potential.

He can be a 20/10 guy in 2 year in my eyes. It will depend on his role too, hbut he can do it all.

Pau is soft, Marc is not.:p

Thought about asking earlier today, who would you rather have, Marc or Pau?

Tough question. Pau had the better regular season, Marc is having the better post-season.

Is marc not soft because he is bigger or because he's mentally tougher?

Marc is way more mentally tough than Pau. It is not close.

Both at their best, I'd probably give the slight edge to Pau(scream and all) but Marc is good in his own right.

It is interesting to think about, what happens if they switch places today? Marc on LA, Pau back in Memphis. Is Memphis better or worse? Is LA better or worse? Think we'd hear about Kobe wanting/needing Marc to be a black swan instead of white swan?:p I dont know!

The Male Gasol is still not as good as the older sibling.

I'm confused as to why the poll results and thread replies are so different.

I voted for Pau, even though I don't like him.

Marc is more like a Bynum than a Pau. A physical big who can fill up the lane on defense and do the dirty work to complement Randolph.

Pau is still the better offensive player. Better jumpshot with much more finesse around the rim.

How do you know this? What adversity has Marc really had to play through? He's played a total of eight playoff games in his career, none with the burden of being the best player on the team, something Pau faced every single game he wore a Grizzlies jersey.

Pau has great clutch-stats, better playmaker, slightly better shooter, more blocks.
Marc may be the better defender, but i would take Pau over him, value-wise.

Pau is much better ...He's a difference maker for a good team...He's the type of player to put you over the top...Marc is decent though...And by the way he has no upside people...He's as good as he's gonna get.....
