Is Lakers vs Jazz the best first round matchup scenario for rockets?

    Since it seems rockets always having trouble against those two teams, a first round matchup between the Lakers and Jazz would mean one less of them to worry about (if we can pass first round).
    Although I hate Mavs so much :mad: , but lets hope Dallas can hang on to the 7th seed !! :p

    Imagine if the Lakers lose to whoever is in the 8th seed.

    Suddenly, everyone has a chance to go to the finals.

    Greatest Scenario ...... one of the teams I personally hate the most would be going home in the first round... :D

    Wont happen. Look at Hornets schedule and then Jazz schedule, too unlikely.

    Rockets also cant play the Jazz in the 1st round, no matter who wins or loses.

    Meaning, the Rockets wont seee Utah this year.

    The Jazz plays the Lakers on the last day. You have to consider if home court advantage is out or reach for LA then they might throw the game away just to avoid Utah the 1st rd.
