http://asubstituteforwar.wordpress.com/2013/03/12/why-i-believe-jeremy-lamb-will-be-a-superstar/ What do you guys think? Houston probably doesn't get Harden if it wasn't because of Lamb.
when was the last superstar drafted outside of top 10(except by Spurs), I can't really remember any names.
It will be VERY hard for him to do it in OKC. He will learn a lot from Durant, but you have to be able to get on the floor and produce. Durant does everything Lamb does, just 5x better. That being said, OKC's management is great at what they do and I am sure they will find a way to get something out of him. I would imagine that he shows signs of potential All-Star and some GM ends up trading for him for a young piece or two to give OKC some more young, inexpensive potential.
This guy proves his point with a 4 minute clip from 1 game against the team with the WORST record in the D-League?
Is this the same guy averaging 2 pts a game on 38% shooting in the NBA? Future all-star? If he's so great why is he getting no pt? No real info in the article..."he's got an explosive first step and he has a perfect looking shot, and his 'feel' for the game is "like, best in the league, dude!...like totally!" Uh, okay...dude... Anyways, if he's so great why is he getting no pt? Lots of stats from college and D league, but a lot of players looked good there and were never great in the NBA...so far he's not even good in the NBA.
Good chance if lamb keeps progressing the way he is supposed to...A Trio with Durant Lamb and Westbrook happens next year...Most likely with Martin leaving for another spot
Les said he's 5th on their draft board. OKC is a good place for him, and playing time isn't necessary early on(see Morris, G Smith). OKC also has PJIII and Reggie Jackson, both of whom I see high potential. It's scary to think how good collectively they can be a few years down the road, not to mention they have more picks coming. As promising as we are, the next decade probably belong to Heat and OKC no matter how hard everybody else try.
Hold up, if I drop 30 on the worst D-League team, does that mean I am a once in a generation talent, guaranteed to make millions? Didn't think it was that easy.
In 2 years time, the OKC team may look like this: C: Ibaka PF: PJ3 SF: Durant SG: Lamb PG: Westbrook We should not forget that OKC also holds a likely lotto pick in 8th to 11th range thanks to Rudy Gay's Durant-level of play. Basically, this means that OKC will be the new 1960s Celtics, stacked at all positions.
