Is it true the Rockets bench leads all other benches in scoring?

Did I see a statistic that the Rockets bench was averaging about 38 points a game to lead the league? If that is true that is great. When you think of benches you think of Sacramento or Portland.

The thing I like most about our team is that anyone can go off on any night, and we spread the wealth unlike the problem L.A. is having right now.

although it is great to be good at something, this is not too much of a complement.

it just means that our starters dont contribute jack. anderson puts up abysmal numbers, and untill recently Mo averaged under 10.

hakeem han definately not been a scoring monster. we have good bench scorers just because they dont start. If all our starters were contributing well, than i would love to have a powerfull bench, but this just means that we have the wrong guys starting.

    peace

What???? Man, could you possibly think that it means we have a coach and a team that is finding it's roles? Or that the second string is adept at running the plays as they are called?

Look, the first string is an atheltic, creative group, while the second string relies on structure and ball movement. And it works.

    The wrong people starting? Please....

Hey bench scoring is great. It means that you have a bench you don't mind playing in real game situations. Nothing bad about that for the future. It means you can go with whatever's working. That's good too.

If you had told the Rockets (and their fans) this time last year, that essentially the same team the next year, would have 8 teams in the whole NBA with a better record in mid December what would you or they have thought?

I'd have to say that I'm pleased right now.

I just posting in another thread:

the bench has scored 897 points out of 2076 for 43% of our points. The Magic got 48% last year, for a 41-41 record and Coach of the Year honors for Doc Rivers.

So, when does Rudy start getting some praise for the outstanding bench he has created the old fashion way: from trades, drafting and coaching!
