Denver is the only team in the West I can't really fathom. No clear-cut star, no flexibility, 11th in the standings, now this conflict. The only thing they can look forward to are the 2014 and 2016 Knicks' first rounders, everything else suggests they're stuck in limbo.
I think there's a problem with your link. Whatever it is, I'm sure Denver is indeed as much in disarray as they seem. Luckily for them, they'll have a pick in this year's draft. Although the last time they had a good pick in a stacked draft (03) they got Melo, and still really didn't do much. Denver's never really been good, kind of feel for their fans.
I think it's time for the Rocket's to take themselves seriously before they find themselves fighting for the 8th spot again this year. And how sad would that be, more talent, less of a team. Minnesota would have made it over the Rockets last year had they been healthy, and well, they're pretty healthy this year. Then you've got the Pelicans on the rise.
This. George Karl was acting cranking and they may not have had much choice. I suppose we'll never know why they didn't bring passion and energy against the Warriors. Maybe something happened between Karl and the players. Late in the season. Letting a very good GM walk away was just plain dumb. No rationalizing that.
