I am on their bandwagon for two reasons 1. I'm not a Gundy hater also I do not think the Rockets are far off so if Utah wins the NBA title we can go into next season thinking if only Yao was 100% or if only we got something from the bench or if only we had a more athletic four. 2. If they win the title it will prove one of two things 1)our style can beat the suns 2) the Spurs are beatable when healthy (they are most definatly healthy this year) Dont want to see Sloan and the Jazz with a title but it would make me feel better about the Rockets. And Fisher is a nice story, still hope that dirty Turk breaks his leg.
Only if you are rooting for them because you think you have bad luck, and the teams you root for are infected by that.
This doesn't prove the Rockets are an elite team... Heck the Jazz aren't either....it proves that they got lucky that a number 8 seed created matchup problems for the Mavs. It does prove that JVG screwed up Houston's chance at getting to the WC finals.... But the Spurs and Suns will wipe the floor with the Jazz in the next round. DD
There it is. Call me crazy, but of the remaining teams, our style is most similar to the Spurs. Thus, a vote for the Spurs is a vote for the Rockets. Meaning 'analysts' can spend another year being wrong that small ball is the future of the NBA. As for the Cavs...well I was born in Cleveland and I've been a lifelong fan. Come to think of it, the Cavs lineup is kind of similar w/ LBJ and Big Z.
Nope will never root for the jazzzz, in fact my intrest in the playoffs fell off a cliff once we were out and have been keeping up with highlights and articles. Think it'll be another Pistons Spurs finals
I would rather go to hell and stay there forever before rooting for the Jazz. I hate the Spurs just as much, too. I am so pissed at how these playoffs have gone.
For the record I do as well, I just was asking if they won would it make you feel better or worse. I kind of think it would make me feel better.
Why does everyone hate the Jazz so much. They are a classy organization and play good, hard ball. I'd rather see them win than any other team. They are easy to root for too because they don't have any dirty players.
