Landry seems to be entering the game earlier and earlier these days. Is it time for Landry to be starting? And if so, who should he replace?

I don't think so. If anything start Budinger and take out either Ariza or Battier.

Landry deserves the 6th man of year award. If he started, he wouldn't get it.

Maybe the rockets should try Andersen starting at C.

Keep him on the bench and continue to utilize him as an offensive spark off the bench. There's a reason he's the leading candidate for 6th man.

He deserves it, but he also deserves the 6th man of the year award. Also, I think he's vital to this team as a game changer. I'm fine with him coming off the bench.

    The starting lineup should be:

    AB
    C-Bud
    Battier
    Scola
    Hayes

Our real strength is the bench.

I still perfer him off the bench.......just give him starter's minutes. Much like what the Spurs do with Ginobili. He anchors the entire bench, and can save us in games with his energy when we come out flat. (You saw what happened tonight when Houston got down by 16) Honestly it makes no sense to start the guy until we get another bench scorer to replace his production off the bench.

Keep him on the bench.....just increase his minutes.

make that two.. Although Hayes is horrible on O .. he can atleast make a few sweet passes from the high post and outlet passes..

either Shane or Ariza need to benched and Chase needs to start

If the rockets are so particular abt young player development.. why do you want shane and ariza to start and play > 30 mpg. ?

It's rare that coaches make drastic changes to the rotation mid-season unless someone is injured or really fouls up.

I don't think Landry will start any time soon.

Then the bench would get weaker. Bench is very important in this league. You need that spark when starters are resting. He just needs more minutes.

I still think that Landry off the bench gives us a huge spark, if Aaron can't get it going then Landry can come in earlier but other than that the current rotation is fine, maybe increase Landry's minutes a bit and see how that works out?

Its time...it will weaken the bench quite a bit but these slow starts are killing us and it will only continue. Scola and Landry play really well together and getting Landry more touches will limit Ariza's shots which can only help his game overall. No panic but just a move that has to be made and 6th man awards are nice but its about the team not individual.

You don't feel the starting group lacks offensive firepower?

An alternative which someone mentioned and is worth consideration is starting David Andersen in place of Hayes. Spacing just doesn't seem very good right now with that starting unit.
