Is it possible?

"Kevin Garnett is as good as gone.

It may not be what KG wants. It may not be what Taylor or the tens of thousands of other T-Wolves fans want. But it's what is needed." - Chad Ford of NBA Talk.

Is it possible that the T-Wolves are actually looking to shop KG?

What would you be willing to give up for what might be the best ball player on the planet? What other team could give as much cap relief as the Rockets? KG makes what? 20 million a year? Dream is at 16.5 million, throw in Mo and Walt and presto!

How many 1st round picks would you be willing to offer? 1...2...3? And what if they wanted to throw in Brandon for Francis?

How do you feel about a lineup of:
    Brandon
    Mobley
    Anderson
    Kevin Garnett
    Cato....................as opposed to:

    Francis
    Mobley
    Anderson
    Mo
    Cato

Personally I think the lineup with KG is the better line up. I love Steve and it would be hard to give him up but KG is just as young and a better player.

IMHO the top five players in the league are Shaq, Kobe, Garnett, Webber and Duncan. Not necessarily in that order.

I can't think of another team that could offer as much immediate cap space and number one picks to make up for their lack of number ones over the next five years.

I would be hardpressed to believe it, and shocked if it happened.

Garnett is the cornerstone of that franchise.

Yeah, an article from October is really breaking news.

That was when eveyone was freaking out about the Joe Smith crap - everything settled down and the Wolves said they would never trade Garnett.

    Pay attention!

How come we never see Fred Hoiberg's name in trade talk? Is it 'cause he's white? You are all damn racists if you don't talk about Fred Hoiberg in a trade. He's got skeelz.

Couldn't they package Hoiberg in the deal?

    THERE, you happy?

    Did I read this right?

"And just about the time the T-Wolves can start drafting, that's when Kevin Garnett will really get paid. His bill? Garnett's next contract could be worth $283 million over seven years. Ouch!"

    $40 million a year???????? OMG!!!!!!!
