My son is 14 and has an ipod Touch. He uses it to connect to my Wireless network at home (which is broadcast out from my AT&T Uverse router). My question is this, is there a way for me, from my home computer, to track what his internet activity is on his iPod Touch by looking at what is going through this wireless Uverse router? I've done some Google searches but either I'm not putting in the criteria well or this is not an easily performed task. Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated. Thanks.
it probably goes something like this you tube espn red tube red tube red tube youtube espn redtube red tube red tube red tube
What exactly are you looking for? I've never really been one to snoop, privacy at that age is a really sensitive issue. Yeah I know, "he lives under my roof so...", but if you don't want him looking up something on his iPod, block the iPod through the router. Disclaimer: Not a father, and probably much closer to the "14 year old" than "father" side of this issue, but that's my 2 cents.
Try a WEP key so he can't log in to the WiFi from his iPod. That'll limit his internet access to a computer which you could just easily search the history for anything he was on.
As has been stated above, the worst it could be is pr0n... which I think is normal. That is unless he's been downloading movies and such illegally through the ipad... I think that could be a bigger issue than anything.

Just let him look at p*rn, it's only natural at that age ... but I'm sure that's why you started this thread, for parenting advice from a bunch of childless losers.
everyone in this thread has assured you that he is watching p*rn, thus your need to monitor him is moot
I guess I should have stated this in the opening post since I knew the kind of responses I would get. I have no problem with him watching p*rn, in general. I assume that is the case and if I saw that was what he was doing, I wouldn't step in or even tell him I knew. I do, however, have reason to believe there might other, more concerning things going on, and I won't get into all that here on a public message board. Suffice it to say I'm not trying to be a net Nazi. I want him to have net access on his touch. I gave him the damn WEP key so he could access it. I just want to give myself the chance to step in in case something is going on that is a REAL problem. ipaman, thanks for the response. I'll check those out. CCR, he's my stepson.
You should be able to check it out through your router. They typically have logs every website visited.
It's an AT&T Uverse device. Would there be a way to access its logs from my computer? Because he knows that if he didn't anywhere else I would be able to check.
