just wanted to ask all the senior members: Is it okay to cheer for Yao Ming again without being segregated, chastised and smeered upon? Just wanted to post something positive for yao, because hardly anyone does so anymore...how about WNBA and ATRAIN lead the way and show some luv for the big fella, any luv at all? Yao played with lots of heart tonite...he made some tough, clutch shots that any houstonian would say was 'clutch' he didn't have a perfect game but not many people in the league do night in night out... can we have some movement where fans can cheer Yao again and taken seriously at the same time? or is it not fashionable still? players games go from up to down, some worse than others...it was in vogue to say cat or JJ was the most consistent rockets recently... funny, im really thinking Yao Ming has been the most consistent on a team that is far from being consistent...
*bump I think we should be cheering for every member on our team.. Everyone has their ups and downs I cheer for Yao all the time and I dont really care what other people think. Yao played with heart... so did SF/ Cat and JJ.. actually everyone did and we just got beat by a very good team and took them down to the wire. At least we competed and im happy with that. J
Don't get me wrong. I bought a hat that says, "YAO 11" on it... on purpose. I root for him, say "yes" when he hits a bucket or alters a shot. But cheer? Not yet.
Yao played great offensively tonight. he was more aggressive, and he would have scored 30+ points tonight if we had guards that knew how to pass.
Your right, Yao did have a solid game tonight when he had the ball in his hands. You would think these guys could figure that out by now? Nice game Yao..
Please no more such stupid thread! I am a Yao-fan, but I am not happy if his team loses. You can post things like this in Chinese BBS, but not here, for it is a shame on Yao, who is a great !TEAM player
i went to watch the game at this bar here in austin and some dumb ass spurs fan was like "take that shot" whenever yao hit his last points. as if yao wasnt clutch and as if yao doesnt have range. what a moron. i hate spurs fans....they are stupid.
