Like sometimes, my wireless icon will say it's connected, but it won't connect to the internet. It'll go down maybe once or twice a day for about 10-15 minutes. I have SBC Yahoo and was just wondering if that was a normal thing or not.

I've got Qwest DSL and that seems to happen occasionally. What always seems to work is to shut down your computer, the DSL modem and wireless hub (I mean shut down all the way like turn off the power strip or unplug them) for about two minutes and then restart everything. Its a pain but isn't frequent enough to cause a lot of problems. It also helps to not leave your DSL modem running all of the time. So I generally shut mine down at night.

A few years ago I had a lot of problems with the Nimda worm that infects DSL modems. Then I was doing that a few times a day. If your DSL is that bad you should call SBC technical service and see what's up.

It's not unusual. I have trouble maybe once every two years. and I do the same thing mentioned above.

Allright...yea I do shut down and restart my modem when it happens. It's just more of an annoyance than anything else.

what kind of router are you using.

I had a problem with a Linksys broadband router where it would do waht you describe. Got worse after a firmware update....so I got a new ne and that cleared the problem up....granted, Im on cable...but the symptoms sound similar.
