It has been another dominating game against one of the best team in the division or in the west. It seems like this was all been rehearsed and know how to control the game in favor of the underdog. Rockets always have a big game on national TV and not to mentioned Stevie had an explosive game against one of the tough guards that ever played the game(Sam Cassel). But I've seen some sign of consistency on the offensive side, which was the major weakness of the Rockets. Big game!And wished for a lot more exciting game!! GO ROCKETS!
I'd like to think it is due to increased concentration.... sometimes I feel like Steve suffers from on-the-court-attention-defecit-disorder. I think the bigger question is: What does this mean for a potential playoff run? The Rockets have been chokers for years now... always losing close games. Does this mean we are moving back to being a clutch team? I'm very interested to see how the Rockets perform against the tough teams night-in and night-out in the second half of the season.
By the way this is a BIG difference from the last few years where the Rockets STUNK on national TV. It is a sign that things are changing for the better. DD
Hopefully it is the National TV. They have 2 ESPN, 1 ESPN2, and 1 TNT over the next 6. You can also throw in Telemundo. Does this mean 7 straight since the 2 non TV are against Miami and Orlando?
It was on ABC in Austin. Gotta be national, right? Good point about the playoffs... if it takes the spotlight for some of the focus-challenged players to play close to their capabilities, the playoffs should be a gas! (crosses every appendage)
Exactly what I was thinking. If this is true, then I can't wait till the playoffs where every game is in the National Spotlight. We sure do have a nice streak of games coming up on NTV. I can't wait. Let's go Rockets. Great Win today!!!
This was one of the few times I got to watch the Rockets this year, and it was a blowout win! Awesome!! The National TV win streak continues. Look out if they make it into the playoffs!
Just heard on FOX SPORTS that the Rockets is somewhat showcasing on National TV. I don't think so! But it's more like domination against a better team on National TV. That's what I think!!
It could be true. They need to win the Channel 51 and Fox games as well. They can't take those game lightly just because their a smaller audience.
