if we had the IL, we can put a few players on that and pickup some free-agents to help us during our tough times....oh well... :-(
I agree...but I think Bill Worrell mentioned that when you have 4 players out more than 2 weeks you can petition the NBA for additional roster spots. We certainly qualify. DD
current situation teams get 15 roster spots. If a player is 'injured' then they still occupy a spot. previously teams had 12 roster spots and 3 IR spots. if a player was 'injured' they could be moved to the IR and a free agent picked up. My mathematics suggests that 15=12+3 so the answer to the question 'is not having the IL hurting us?' is 'NO'.
