Texas has the most UNIMAGINATIVE coaching I have ever seen.

Do they blitz up the middle to stop OU? Nope !

Do they try the double move routes on offense? Nope !

Do they pass the ball to the wide open Tight end in the middle? Nope !

Do they do defensive line stunts? Nope !

Do they bring in an extra back or TE to help in coverage since their line sucks? Nope !

I am convinced that Mack Brown and his staff are a bunch of blithering idiots !!!

    Turnovers. Turnovers. Turnovers. Turnovers. Turnovers.

Pound the ball. Pound the ball. Pound the ball. Pound the ball.

Watch the defensive lapse......... Throw a 5 yard fade to the corner of the end zone.

    Texas looks dumbfounded out there.

The lineman on Texas are horrible, on both sides of the ball.

And Benson needs to go play baseball, because ever since his concussion against Colorado he is running like a WUSS !!

He fumbles and just does not run with authority.

The future of Texas looks good at QB, but Mack needs to get some lineman....the ones he has have no speed, and get beat on offense, and don't get any pressure on defense.

Pathetic effort today...pathetic....and unimaginative on play calling on both sides of the ball.

I should have named this thread...PILE ON TEXAS...because they deserve it.

Just from some of the throws Vincent Young made, it looks like he hasn't been coached at all. He looks unpolished, doesn't know what he's doing. What the hell was up with that first interception, could he telegraph it anymore? And don't they teach him to protect the ball when running?

They need a good coach, look how Parcells is making freaking Quincy Carter look like a real QB in Dallas.

I have been giving them the benefit of the doubt. That's OVER.

Mack s.h. gotten rid of davis long ago, prob reese too. Now the ship has sunk.

But I no longer blame just those two, Mack cannot prime a team to play in big games. Once their balloon deflates, they fall apart.

The quote by that OU player is perfect. He said something like they come out pumped and try to intimidate you but throughout the game they tire out and disappear.

Another good quote was by some college football analyst: "Texas...hit em in the mouth and they'll fold".

Of course it's not the coaches fault.

Texas just has the unfortunate luck to have recruited the only high school all-americans who can't tackle, block or even execute the startingly brilliant gameplan I'm sure our maestros in the coaching booth had in mind. . .

OF COURSE IT'S THE COACHES FAULT.

    And it always has been.

We absolutely refuse to put the talent in a place to suceed. We require our talent to perform at the top of their abilities to even come out even, much less win. We haven't won a single ****ing game since Mack came here on coaching - it's all on pure, uncoached talent.

And because I'm in a piss poor mood : Blame Simms Now.

I apologize to Chris Simms for putting the majority of the blame on him. It doesn't matter now but I'd like to be on the record.

Agreed. Chris Simms wasn't put in a position to succeed. He failed. Jason White, or Kenny Dorsey, or Craig Krenzel, or Jesus H. Christ would have done likewise.

Even Vince Young can't overcome it.

Finally I get to say I was right about Simms, but I wish I wasn't. We really could have used a win today. See ya' later recruits. Enjoy playing at NOT-Texas. Screw recruits...I want to win it all one of these days.

I knew he was fast before, but DAMN he's a lot more elusive than I thought. Best runner OU will face all year. Made Lehman look plain silly...

So, it is now been 4 straight years that OU has beaten Texas and twice the Sooners hung over 60 points on the Horns. What is going to be the final nail in Mack Brown's coffin?

People who are closer to the program than me: what do the boosters and alumni think of Mack Brown? Can't they put enough pressure on DeLoss Dodds to get rid of this guy? Geez.
