just thinking maybe yao can go back, take it, get well, then come back here so it leaves on paper trail of any sort in america. alright i'm kidding...........just thinking up ideas.

if HGH is all it takes to cure Yao's fractured foot, I'd do it personally. but i doubt it's that simple.

I dont think steroid is illegal there, let alone HGH. As long as you don't compete, you're free to inject whatever crap to your body as long as you wish to, in US though, some states banned steroid in general, but never HGH. In combat sports you can say that about 50% to even 70% athletes had done or still doing steroids, the rate for HGH could be much higher since it's a "free to do".
