Sorry bout that other thread I tried to post. It told me that the BBS went down last night due to traffic so I guess my thread wasn't completed. Anyway, Is it just me or has Steve been getting a lot of blocked shots lately? I think he catches a lot of people off guard with his explosive leaping ability.
True. Last night the main blocked shot I saw him get was due to the Laker player(dont remember who) being frightened when he got into the lane bya 7'5" dude. He forgot about what was behind him and Steve let it fly.
Yeah, I think Stevie's gonna start getting burned on defense, though, if he's not careful. He's getting comfortable being aggressive on defense, because he knows we have shot blocking ability down low. If his guy blows by him, he can let a big guy (like Yao) take up the slack. The guy goes up and Stevie is right behind him with the swat. However, when Yao moves over to defend the ball, he leaves a guy open. Stevie needs to cover where Yao was before, or there's gonna be some easy weakside dunking going on. I didn't say that right, but I hope you get the idea.
